Theological Programs

Doulos Theological Seminary

At Doulos Theological Seminary, our theological programs are built upon the unshakable foundation of God’s Word and are designed to form servant-leaders who embody Christlike humility, theological soundness, and practical ministry effectiveness. We believe that theological education should not only inform the mind but transform the heart, preparing men and women to serve God’s Kingdom with wisdom, compassion, and conviction.

We offer a wide spectrum of academic pathways tailored to meet students at various levels of calling, experience, and spiritual development.

Certificate and Diploma Level Programs

For those beginning their theological journey or seeking to strengthen their foundational understanding of the Christian faith, we offer the Certificate in Theology (C.Th.) and the Diploma in Theology (Dip.Th.). These programs provide essential training in biblical studies, systematic theology, Christian doctrine, and spiritual formation. They are ideal for lay leaders, new believers, Sunday school teachers, and those preparing for initial stages of ministry involvement.

Undergraduate Degree Programs

The Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) is a comprehensive undergraduate program that delves deeper into Scripture, church history, missions, Christian ethics, and pastoral ministry. It is designed for those who sense a clear call to full-time ministry and are seeking to be thoroughly equipped for leadership in churches, mission organizations, and theological education institutions.

Graduate Degree Programs

Our Master of Divinity (M.Div.) is the flagship professional degree for pastoral ministry. This program offers rigorous academic training in biblical languages, theology, homiletics, pastoral care, counseling, and missiology. It also emphasizes spiritual formation and practical ministry experience, making it ideal for those preparing for pastoral leadership, missionary service, chaplaincy, or advanced theological studies.

The Master of Theology (M.Th.) is an advanced, research-oriented program designed for graduates of M.Div. or equivalent degrees who wish to engage in deeper theological reflection, academic writing, and teaching ministry. The M.Th. challenges students to explore complex theological and ethical issues with scholarly excellence and spiritual discernment. It also serves as a gateway to doctoral-level study.

Our Distinctive Approach

What sets Doulos apart is our intentional integration of biblical truth, academic excellence, and Spirit-led formation. All of our theological programs are deeply rooted in Scripture and guided by our identity as doulos (bondservants) of Christ. We aim to develop leaders who not only understand God’s Word but live it, teach it, and apply it in a broken and searching world.

“Theological education should produce not just scholars, but shepherds—men and women shaped by truth and surrendered to Christ.”

At Doulos, learning is not confined to the classroom. Through mentorship, chapel life, field ministry, and a supportive community, our students are immersed in a transformative environment that prepares them for faithful, fruitful service in God’s vineyard.

Whether you're exploring your call, deepening your theological roots, or preparing for advanced ministry, Doulos Theological Seminary offers a path that will equip you to serve with clarity, confidence, and a servant’s heart.

Counselling Programs

Doulos Institute of Counselling and Psychology

At Doulos Institute for Counselling and Psychology, we are committed to training Christ-centered counselors who are equipped to serve with compassion, competence, and biblical integrity. Our counselling programs are designed to integrate sound psychological principles with the unchanging truth of God’s Word, empowering individuals to bring healing, hope, and wholeness to a hurting world.

In an age marked by emotional struggles, mental health challenges, broken relationships, and spiritual confusion, the need for biblically grounded, professionally trained counselors has never been greater. Recognizing this urgent need, Doulos offers a range of programs tailored to meet learners at various stages—whether they are just beginning their journey in the helping profession or seeking to advance into specialized, clinical, or ministry-based roles.

Diploma in Christian Counselling (DCC)

The Diploma in Christian Counselling is a foundational program designed for those who wish to begin their journey in the field of counselling from a biblical perspective. This program provides essential training in topics such as human development, biblical foundations for counselling, basic psychology, marriage and family dynamics, and practical counselling skills. It is ideal for lay leaders, church workers, teachers, or anyone desiring to provide faith-based emotional and spiritual support in their community.

Bachelor in Christian Counselling (BCC)

The Bachelor in Christian Counselling is a comprehensive undergraduate degree that deepens students’ understanding of human behavior, emotional health, and therapeutic techniques, all from a Christian worldview. This program combines biblical theology, psychology, counselling theory, and practical internship experience, preparing students to serve in churches, schools, NGOs, or para-church organizations. Students also develop core competencies in areas such as trauma care, addiction recovery, grief counselling, and crisis intervention.

Master of Arts in Christian Counselling (MACC)

The Master of Arts in Christian Counselling is an advanced program that equips students to integrate biblical truth with psychological insight at a professional level. Designed for those who are called to serve in clinical, pastoral, or organizational settings, this program provides in-depth training in counseling ethics, mental health assessment, therapeutic models, and spiritual care. Students are also given opportunities for supervised practicum and case studies to refine their counselling practice. The MACC aims to develop holistic counselors—spiritually mature, emotionally grounded, and professionally equipped.

Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP)

The Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology is a specialized program that focuses on the academic and clinical dimensions of mental health counselling. It is tailored for students pursuing licensure or advanced roles in mental health institutions. With a curriculum that includes research methodology, advanced psychopathology, clinical supervision, and culturally responsive counselling, the MACP prepares students to address complex psychological needs with excellence and ethical responsibility.

Equipped to Make a Difference

Our counselling programs are not just academic—they are transformational. Through rigorous study, hands-on training, spiritual formation, and mentorship, students are shaped into compassionate caregivers and competent professionals who reflect the love and wisdom of Christ in every counselling setting.

Whether you are called to serve in ministry, education, healthcare, or private practice, Doulos will equip you to counsel with confidence, clarity, and Christlike care.
